About the Paperstax Project

The Paperstax Project is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to inspiring and enabling self-actualization through journaling.

We work with schools and organizations with educational goals to enhance the dignity and quality-of-life of individuals and families by helping people reach their full potential through education, reflection, and creativity. 

In order to accomplish these goals, we donate notebooks and curriculum to students and facilitators, and provide support to help all involved achieve growth in writing, thinking, and productivity. We do this by partnering with facilitators to discern who their target audience is, creating meaningful discourse with that audience, and providing the materials and resources necessary to create growth.

Participants receive notebooks donated by the Paperstax Project, and facilitators use these notebooks to inspire their participants to reflect honestly on myriad questions and themes. Each student involved has an opportunity to gain incentives such as extra credit in school, volunteer hours, or other, more tangible prizes by sharing a composed project reflection from each completed notebook. Those reflections are shared on our Instagram feed @PaperstaxProject.
